Power: He has the ability to cast illusions on himself, although he is usually unaware of them. For example, he can 'disintegrate' or 'turn to stone' or even 'get hit by lightning' - none of them actually affect him, it just appears to all around that these things are happening.
Why you feel you would play this character well: I am more than used to girl-obsessed spazzy blonds ;P but really, Tamaki just kind of slots into my mind with an ease that is actually somewhat alarming.
Give us your interpretation of their background:
Tamaki was the son of the 'head' of the Suou family and a mistress. His father divorced his wife when he was born - but Tamaki lived in France with his mother before being moved to Japan with the intention of taking over the Suou family. However, his paternal grandmother despises him and never allowed him in the main house. The grandmother is the real head, behind the scenes.
He became friends with Kyouya Ootori (even if the latter only did it originally to help his father's business) and between them, they set up the Host Club. It was a set of very wealthy, good looking high school boys who devoted time to the girls of their school. He often exhibited his powers by accident at Ouran and after most of the club moved to Meillure Academy, he convinced his father to allow him to move as well.
He has full intentions of resuming his place as 'King' or 'Daddy' and bringing his little group back together again.
He can speak three languages fluently (English, French, Japanese).
